Computers and Software
Due to the need for social distancing (COVID-19), the library has reduced the number of available lab-imaged computers to 29, four on the third floor, and 25 on the fourth floor. All computers provide access to the catalog and databases. Wireless internet access is also available within the library. The library's computers are equipped with network logins allowing Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University students, faculty and staff access to University online resources. See our Public Access Computer Use Policy.
The library has three photocopiers/scanners for public use. Two are on the third floor in the Leisure area. One is on the fourth floor in the hallway behind the ASK Desk.
All the copiers print in color and are set up to print double-sided.
The copiers can also scan documents to PDF which can be emailed to you. See the the Using Copiers to Scan to Email page for instructions.
The library has six printers available for use from any of the public computers. Two printers are located near the computers on the third floor, and four are near the computers on the fourth floor. See Wireless Printing in the Library for help printing to the printers using your own device.
A microfilm / microfiche reader is available on the fourth floor across from the Ask Desk. Prints from the microform reader may be released from any of the printers in the library.
